Back when they were refueling the franchise with Beast Wars, so many fans whined about "TRUKK NOT MUNKY". And the Transfandom is well known for being stubbornly against new stuff and eventually warming up to it. Hey, it's better than all the anime crap we've been getting lately, at least. Hey, that's actually a damn awesome show!" I'm not going to be surprised if the Transfandom will come to embrace this show in 2008. And then the show started and many of these people were all "wow. They were all "WTF, get this ugly crap away from me". Derrick Wyatt's production art for Teen Titans initially made many potential fans (DC Comics fans, DCAU fans) pissy. I'm not surprised people are having this kind of reaction. The only Optimus I really love is Primal, and THAT kind of hit me in the face with Beast Machines. Of course, I find Optimus a bit fugly, but it's not like I ever cared about Optimus anyway. I especially like how Bumblebee and Prowl look, they're sleek (Prowl's a goddamn police ninja). I'm sure that they'll look awesome when they actually move. Re: Transformers 'Animated' Cast and Show Information I saw the news at multiple places, but I'm crediting the place I saw it first and got most of the information from. First time I've been excited for new Transformers series in a long time. The original Prime picture had me worried, but the newer team shot after getting used to it and hearing about all the great voices makes me wonder if this might not be the return of good Transformers animation. And with it all being prelay audio it means they aren't beholden to footage, they get to do the voice then the footage is lined up to what they say. The nice thing to hear, any actors who had lines speaking to someone else recorded with them, which is done more and more rarely in animation these days. They've already recorded the audio for 29 episodes and the 90 minute 'pilot' movie. Outside of a few characters quite a few will be one episode characters apparantly. Waspinator may also make a cameo, but more then likely will not be Scott McNeil (Waspinator and Blackarachnia.makes you wonder if they are new incarnations of the characters, or if it has an odd crossover with Beast Wars.)
